Rebuilding a Washington Street Home From the Studs
When we bought this Washington Street home in Delanco in June 2025, the work ahead went well beyond fresh paint and a few cosmetic changes. The renovation took the house down to the studs and rebuilt the systems and finishes that would support its next chapter.
Our team replaced the roof, siding, HVAC, plumbing, wiring and flooring. Inside, a new kitchen with shaker cabinets and quartz counters and a remodeled bathroom brought the living spaces up to date.
After the renovation, the home was listed through our agent and sold in June 2026 for $330,000.
Behind the Walls
New plumbing, wiring and HVAC were part of the rebuild, alongside a new roof and siding.
Inside the Home
New flooring, shaker cabinetry, quartz countertops and a remodeled bath completed the interior work.
From Worn Exterior to a Fresh Start

The Work Reached Beyond the Finishes
A kitchen can change how a house feels, but this project also required work that is less visible in the finished rooms. Replacing the major systems was a substantial part of the renovation.
The new kitchen and remodeled bath were part of that broader work. Together with the flooring and exterior updates, they were part of a complete renovation rather than a small refresh.
A New Chapter Inside
The interior renovation brought new flooring, a kitchen with shaker cabinets and quartz counters, and a remodeled bathroom to the home. Those changes were part of the wider rebuild.
Purchased As-Is, Renovated and Sold
The $330,000 figure is the completed home’s resale price in June 2026.
For an owner facing a home that needs substantial work, the practical question is often whether to manage the renovation or sell in the current condition. Our Delanco home-buying page explains the direct-sale option.
